Personalised Telephone Assistance:

  • Medical Emergency Telephone Service 24 hours per day 365 days per year:
    At any time and from your house you will have available a primary telephone emergency service where you can put your questions about symptoms, guidance on treatment, secondary effects, health advice, vaccination schedules, etc.
  • Telephone Medical Assistance:
    Telephone medical assistance via a professional, from doctors and operators with special training in telephone health assistance, 24 hours per day 365 days per year.
  • Administration of Clinical History:
    Maintenance of the Insureds’ clinical history with all the information provided by him, allowing telephone access thereto from any Medical Centre.
  • Personal Diary:
    Telephone access to the personal diary with all the information provided by the Insured for the management of medical treatment, diary of medical visits... etc relating to Medical Centres and/or specifically chosen Specialists.

Provision of assistance services in special cases (*):

Medical services:

  • Provision of Medical appointments, therapeutic and diagnostic tests:
    The provision of medical appointments with the Medical Centre and/or specialist which the Insured has chosen, including physiotherapy and dentistry services, as well as all related health administration processes, medical, diagnostic and therapeutic tests, etc. will be managed telephonically.
    More than 10.000 doctors chosen from 36.000 professionals, ensuring the best specialist for each matter.
  • Hospital Transportation:
    If the Assured so decides, a means of hospital transportation will be provided for his immediate transfer to a Medical Centre or the despatch of doctors and/or nurses.
  • Programmed Surgical Operations:
    A Telephone Service coordinating the complete management of all aspects related to the operation: appointments, preoperative tests, management of operatives and medical assistance in all aspects requested by the Assured.

(*) In the assistance services mentioned, a minimum 25% discount off the service tariffs for the professionals chosen by the Assured will be made, taking as a reference, the professional fees used for private patients by the same professional and the same service.

Second medical opinion:

Insured parties that have been diagnosed with a serious, chronic or degenerative illness posing a danger to their lives or significantly affecting their quality of life from a medical point of view, and which is included within one of the following groups of illnesses detailed below:

  • Cáncer
  • Chronic Kidney Failure
  • Immunological Illnesses
  • Neurological and Neuromuscular Illnesses
  • Ophthalmologic Disorders
  • Gastrointestinal Illnesses
  • AIDS
  • Transplants
  • Haematological Illnesses
  • Cardiovascular Illnesses
  • Respiratory Illnesses
  • Neurosurgical Illnesses
  • ENT Illnesses
  • Dermatological Illnesses

will be entitled to receive a free Second Medical Opinion regarding the diagnosis and treatment of their illness. This Opinion will be provided by a Doctor of renowned national or international standing in his/her speciality and will be sent to the person making the request via a written report signed by the doctor consulted.

In order to request a Second Medical Opinion, the Insured should always call the Medical Platform so as to be assigned a Medical Advisor for their case.

The assigned Medical Advisor will be the person in charge of selecting the Medical Specialist for the second opinion, and will arrange with the Insured the best system for providing the clinical record of their illness and any additional evidence that the Medical Specialist may require. S/he will also keep the patient informed regarding the status of their request and will finally deliver the Second Medical Opinion requested.

Specific dental service:

The Company also puts at the disposal of Insured Parties the professional services of a specifically arranged Network of Dentists, included in the medical staff of the Company’s DENTAL SERVICE cover.

This network is complementary to that guaranteed via this guarantee’s Programming of Medical Appointments, Therapeutic and Diagnostic tests of section and is different in terms of the professionals that comprise it and the applicable rates. The Insured will be entitled to receive the following services for free:

  • Preliminary appointment, examination, diagnosis, treatment and quote.
  • Emergency visit.
  • Check-up visit.
  • Removal of stitches.
  • Amalgam polish.
  • One mouth cleaning per year (tartar).
  • Oral hygiene and tooth-brushing technique education.

The payment of professional fees for all other services provided by these Dentists will be borne by the Insured, the rate card prices published annually on the Company’s website being guaranteed.

Complementary Services (*):

  • Veterinary Services:
    Telephone management of the provision of integral veterinary assistance services, such as appointments and reminders requested by the Insured in respect of the service.
  • Other Services:
    Telephone management of the provision of other services included in the Telephonic Platform, amongst others, aesthetic treatments and nutrition, health and beauty, spas, gymnasiums, treatments for quitting smoking, old people homes, home assistants, child care, care for the elderly.

(*) In the complementary services mentioned, there will be a guaranteed discount from the service tariffs of the professionals requested by the Assured and/or some special conditions related to the provision of said services.
